The ORDER part keeps growing.
Lawn & Order Texas Edition began with Bermuda lawn care, mower maintenance and the things I learned taking care of my own property. Today it includes robot mowers, irrigation, sprayers, lawn products and increasingly, useful tech inside and outside the home.
How Lawn & Order Texas Edition Started
The channel started with an idea from my wife and daughter, and from that Lawn & Order Texas Edition was created. In the beginning, the focus was simple: share how I take care of my Bermuda lawn and maintain the equipment I use to do it.
That meant aerating, products I had good luck with, zero-turn mower maintenance, greasing Zerks, changing hydro oil, sharpening blades, adding mower accessories and sharing the little fixes that make lawn work easier. Sometimes the useful tip is highly technical. Sometimes it is as simple as using a kitchen spatula to scrape packed grass from the underside of a mower deck.
Over time the channel expanded naturally. I have covered Bluetooth sprinklers, sprinkler controllers, yard sprayers, pesticides, herbicides, soil testing and robotic mowers. The common thread is not one specific product category. It is showing what I use, what works for me, what does not and what I learn from actually living with it.
About Kevin
Kevin is a native Texan who grew up in an Air Force family, moving around the country from the East Coast to the West Coast before eventually settling back in Texas. Lawn care started early. In sixth grade, he started his own small mowing service and spent years mowing for other Air Force families, even driving his first riding mower around base from lawn to lawn.
After settling in the Dallas-Fort Worth area with his wife, lawn care gradually became more than just mowing. Their first home had very little grass, but Kevin was already studying when to mow, when to fertilize, and how to improve what he had. Later, after moving to a one-acre property filled with weeds but also the beginnings of good Bermuda grass, that interest turned into a much bigger project. He and his wife spent hours pulling weeds by hand, and after becoming frustrated with the results from commercial lawn treatments, Kevin began doing his own research through university resources, Texas turf information, YouTube creators, and plenty of trial and error.
Once the lawn started responding, he was hooked.
Lawn & Order Texas Edition began after encouragement from his wife and daughter. What started as a way to document what Kevin was learning has grown into a YouTube channel with nearly 13,000 subscribers, multiple social platforms, and this website. The focus has expanded from Bermuda lawn care into sprayers, irrigation, equipment, robotic mowers, outdoor technology, and the tools that make maintaining a property easier.
Kevin has also worked professionally as a graphic designer since 1995, primarily in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, with experience across transportation, technology, aviation, automotive, golf, radio-controlled products, political work, and freelance design. That design background naturally carries over into the filming, editing, graphics, photography, and presentation behind Lawn & Order.
Outside of the channel, Kevin enjoys his F-150 Lightning, spending time with his family and dogs, working outside, and figuring out how to fix things himself. One of the most rewarding parts of Lawn & Order is still the simplest: when a neighbor stops to compliment the lawn, asks for advice, or needs help getting their own yard headed in the right direction.
Kevin never expected to be reviewing robotic lawn mowers, but that has become one of the most interesting parts of the journey. With lawn technology changing so quickly, he is looking forward to seeing where the industry goes next.
And who knows, maybe one day you'll run into him at CES.
The ORDER Side
Robot mowers and outdoor technology are already a major part of the channel, and the ORDER side is expanding. Going forward, I will also be reviewing more useful technology and products inside the home, not just equipment that lives in the yard.
More Than Product Reviews
A review can tell you whether I like a product, but Lawn & Order has always been about more than that. I also share maintenance, setup ideas, lawn-care techniques, troubleshooting, shortcuts and the odd trick that saves time or makes a job easier.
The channel may have great mower footage and the occasional nice drone shot, but the goal is still the same as when it started: share useful information from the things I am actually doing around my lawn, property and home.
The Lawn Is Still the Foundation
Even as the ORDER side grows into more technology, the lawn side is not going anywhere. Bermuda grass, mowing, maintenance, irrigation and practical lawn-care work are still a core part of why the channel exists.

My opinions remain my own. I point out the good and the bad, including problems, limitations and things I believe could be improved. A company providing a product or paying for a video does not guarantee a positive review.
Manufacturers may review videos before publication to verify factual accuracy and technical specifications, but all testing, opinions, conclusions and recommendations remain under the sole editorial control of Lawn & Order Texas Edition.
I also do not publish every product I receive or test. If a mower or other product repeatedly malfunctions, does not perform well enough to present fairly, or is not a good fit for my audience, I may choose not to feature it at all.
